We’re Hiring | Civil / Structural Site Engineer Company: LE7 – Lavore Elite Seven for Trading and Contracting Location: Doha, Qatar Employment: Full-time Salary: QAR 8,000–10,000 per month, depending on qualifications and relevant site experience Registration: Minimum UPDA/MMUP Grade B LE7 is seeking an experienced Civil / Structural Site Engineer with a strong structural design background to manage construction activities across villa, residential and fit-out projects in Qatar. The successful candidate must combine practical site experience with the ability to understand structural behaviour, review calculations and drawings, resolve technical issues and coordinate work from foundations through finishing and handover. Key Responsibilities Supervise daily site activities, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, specifications, quality standards and project schedules. Review structural designs, calculations, shop drawings and reinforcement details, identifying discrepancies before execution. Prepare structural calculations, construction details and proposed modifications for review and approval by the responsible design consultant. Inspect setting out, excavation, foundations, reinforcement, formwork, concrete placement, curing and waterproofing. Supervise architectural finishes, including blockwork, plaster, flooring, stone, ceilings, doors, windows and joinery. Coordinate structural, architectural and MEP works, resolving clashes before installation or concealment. Plan labour, materials, equipment and subcontractor activities to maintain progress and control costs. Prepare quantity take-offs, check BOQ quantities and subcontractor payment claims, and document variations. Manage inspection requests, material submissions, technical queries, nonconformance reports and corrective actions. Prepare daily and weekly reports with progress updates, photographs, resource requirements and issues requiring decisions. Coordinate with consultants, clients, suppliers and relevant authorities while maintaining clear site records. Monitor site safety and organise snagging, as-built documentation and final handover. Required Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. Valid UPDA/MMUP registration at Grade B or higher in the relevant discipline is mandatory. Hands-on structural design experience alongside strong site supervision experience is mandatory. Proven experience delivering construction projects in Qatar, preferably villas and residential buildings. Sound knowledge of reinforced concrete structures, foundations, construction methods and finishing works. Familiarity with Qatar Construction Specifications, relevant structural design codes and local approval procedures. Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel and structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAFE or equivalent. Ability to interpret and coordinate structural, architectural and MEP drawings. Strong contractor management, problem-solving, reporting and communication skills. Good written and spoken English; Arabic is an advantage. Valid Qatar driving licence and willingness to travel between project sites. Candidates currently based in Qatar with a short notice period are preferred.
