Finance SME – PD&IT (Downstream)

Summary: The role primarily aims to represent the PD&IT area within the Downstream portfolio, ensuring accurate reflection of costs, capital programmes, and allocations in financial reporting frameworks. Main Responsibilities: Capture current finance, budgeting and reporting practices for the PD&IT area. Define cost centre, project and capital programme reporting needs (including capex, assets under construction, project costing). Advise on allocation and chargeback principles for shared technology and project costs across business segments. Validate GCOA, cost centre, and governance outputs from a PD&IT viewpoint. Key Requirements: Senior finance experience involving capital projects, technology, or shared-function finance in Oil & Gas. Expertise in capex governance, project accounting, and cost allocation models. Nice to Have: Experience with technology or R&D cost allocation in the downstream sector. Familiarity with SAP project systems (PS) or investment management. Other Details: Seniority Level - Senior Manager equivalent.
