Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Content Moderation role based in Qesm El Maadi. The Content Moderator will review live streaming content, user-generated posts, and interactions to ensure compliance with platform guidelines, community standards, and legal requirements. Daily tasks include monitoring real-time streams and chat, assessing reported content, applying moderation decisions consistently, and escalating complex cases when necessary. The role also involves documenting violations, providing clear feedback to internal teams, and helping improve content policies and workflows. Collaboration with operations, product, and safety teams is expected to support a secure, respectful, and engaging experience for all users. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Communication skills, including clear, concise written and verbal communication. Candidates should possess Web Content Writing and Writing skills to document cases, prepare reports, and contribute to content guidelines. Candidates should possess Content Strategy and Content Management skills to support policy development, content categorization, and workflow optimization. Candidates should have experience or interest in social media, live streaming platforms, or online communities. Candidates should demonstrate high attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to make quick decisions under time pressure. Candidates should be comfortable working in shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, as needed by live streaming operations. Candidates should have proficiency in English; additional language skills relevant to MICO WORLD’s markets are an advantage. Candidates should ideally have a diploma or degree in Communications, Media, Journalism, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience. Candidates should be able to work on-site in Qesm El Maadi and collaborate effectively in a diverse, multicultural team. What we’re looking for Native-level Arabic; understanding Gulf, Levantine or other dialects is a plus Good English: able to read policies and talk with the team in English 1–2 years of content moderation / trust & safety experience, ideally on social, live-streaming or gaming apps.
