Role Description The Site Engineer – Fit Out & Commercial Projects role is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo. The Site Engineer will oversee day-to-day site activities, ensuring fit-out and commercial construction works are executed according to design specifications, quality standards, and safety regulations. Responsibilities include coordinating with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers, reviewing drawings and technical documents, supervising site teams, and monitoring progress against project schedules. The role also involves conducting inspections, resolving technical issues, supporting quality control procedures, and preparing regular site reports and documentation. The Site Engineer will work closely with stakeholders to ensure timely delivery, cost control, and alignment with client expectations throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong on-site supervision and coordination skills, with experience managing daily construction and fit-out activities. Candidates should possess effective communication skills for collaborating with project teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients, and for preparing clear reports and documentation. Candidates should possess solid quality control competencies, including applying standards, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with safety and project requirements. Candidates should possess a background in structural engineering or civil engineering, with the ability to interpret technical drawings and resolve site-related engineering issues. Candidates should possess a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field, along with relevant experience in fit-out and commercial construction projects. Candidates should possess proficiency in construction-related software (e.g., AutoCAD, MS Project or similar), and strong organizational and problem-solving skills. Experience with interior fit-out, commercial buildings, and coordination with MEP disciplines is highly beneficial.
