Accountant (Cashier)

About the Role: We are looking for a dependable and customer-focused Cashier to manage daily payment transactions with efficiency and accuracy. This role involves handling cash, card payments, and issuing receipts and cheques in a fast-paced environment. As a key front-line team member, you'll ensure a smooth payment experience while maintaining accurate financial records. Key Responsibilities: Process payments via cash, cheques, cards, and vouchers through POS Issue receipts, refunds, and credit notes to customers Balance cash drawers and prepare daily transaction reports Maintain accurate records in line with bank procedures Support internal departments with payment settlements Collect cash/cheques from relevant departments and personnel Handle petty cash reimbursements and customer cheque issuance Reconcile end-of-day balances and report discrepancies Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related field 2–5 years of relevant experience in a similar cashiering or finance support role Strong math and computing skills Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines Knowledge of QuickBooks or other financial software is an advantage Show more Show less
