Business Development Manager – Alcohol & Beverage Imports Location: Ras Al Khaimah - UAE Company: Confidential – Leading GCC Port Operator The role You will bring international alcohol and beverage brands, distributors and importers to route their imports through a port operator’s handling, bonded storage and duty clearance services. You sell the logistics and clearance service, not the product. What you will do Win brand owners, distributors and importers as customers Set pricing and commercial terms, and close agreements Advise clients on local alcohol import, duty and clearance requirements Grow volumes and revenue from the accounts you win What you need 8+ years in the alcohol and beverage industry in this market, with at least 4 years in business development, trade or commercial roles Working knowledge of local alcohol duties, customs regulations and clearance procedures Established relationships with international alcohol brand owners, distributors or importers Experience in international beverage import, logistics or distribution A proven record of closing deals and generating revenue Must be locally based This is not for you if your experience is retail, hospitality or on-trade sales, or you have no local market experience.
