MCG Technician

Date: Oct 23, 2026 Location: Dubaï, AE, 114190 Brand: KEOLIS Contract Type: Permanent contract The purpose of this position is to provide safe and effective maintenance cleaning and landscaping services for Dubai Metro. Main Responsibilities Strategic Carry out cleaning on the building and structure exterior of Dubai Metro such as stations, ancillary buildings and depots as assigned and undertake the cleaning of special areas and at heights where required Carry out Level 1 & 2 maintenance activities on the cleaning equipment such as the mobile boom, abseiling and high-pressure cleaning machine Respond to incidents on the building and structure that require specific cleaning expertise in a timely and efficient manner Follow applicable procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance with the requirements Maintain accurate maintenance records of cleaning the building, structure, cleaning equipment and other information using a computerized maintenance management system Ensure the maintenance tools and equipment’s are in good condition Assist the MCG Team leader or other technical support staff to identify different types of cleaning methods including cleaning and restoration treatments Perform line side activities, Pest Control and Platform Screen Door cleaning Assist the MCG Team Leader in carrying out all aspects of landscaping activities, such as tree pruning, lawn care, hedge trimming, application of fertilizer and agriculture goods, earth grading and drainage and sprinkler system maintenance in addition to managing Follow the appropriate landscaping procedures and work instructions to ensure compliance with the requirements Maintain accurate maintenance records of landscapes, landscape condition reports, work accomplished and other information Ensure the maintenance tools and equipment are in good condition Perform shift and emergency duties when required Perform and carry out other duties as instructed / directed by the MCG Engineer /Team Leader Financial No direct financial responsibilities. Supports cost‑effective maintenance by ensuring proper use and care of tools, equipment and materials. Stakeholder / Customer Supports internal stakeholders by ensuring station exteriors, structures and landscapes are maintained to required standards, contributing to overall customer satisfaction and safe operations. Operational Contributes to daily operational readiness of Dubai Metro by performing scheduled cleaning, landscaping and other activities in accordance with maintenance plans and procedures. Capability / People Supports team capability by following instructions, maintaining certifications and assisting colleagues during routine tasks, drills and emergency duties. DIMENSIONS Covers all Dubai Metro stations, ancillary buildings and depot external areas Performs cleaning and landscaping tasks across multiple locations Uses specialized equipment such as mobile boom lifts, abseiling gear and high‑pressure machines, whenever applicable. CHALLENGES Working at heights in exposed outdoor environment Access coordination with multiple stakeholders (SM, Security, IAC, EC and OCC) Managing simultaneous cleaning and landscaping tasks across different stations Responding quickly to incidents requiring specialized cleaning expertise key COMPETENCIES Technical Competencies Should possess good/basic understanding of cleaning techniques or landscape procedures and tools Should have basic knowledge of safe working practices Behavioural Competencies Excellent communication and influencing skills. Continuous improvement mindset. EDUCATIONAL QUALIFCATION Min. Required Desirable Education Higher Secondary Certificate or Vocational trade certificate in civil, electrical or mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent Experience Should possess good/basic understanding of cleaning techniques or landscape procedures and tools Minimum 2 years of working experience in cleaning, landscaping or Facilities field Understand and with experience in adhering to structured work instructions Ability to work unsupervised Skills / Training Fluent in English.
