Specialist Neurology

Military Medical City Hospital (MMCH) is seeking a qualified and experienced Specialist Neurologist to join our growing medical team in Qatar. Key Responsibilities • Provide comprehensive assessment, diagnosis and management of adult neurological conditions in outpatient and inpatient settings. • Manage patients with conditions including stroke, epilepsy, headache disorders, movement disorders, neuromuscular diseases, multiple sclerosis and other neurological disorders. • Participate in multidisciplinary patient management and provide neurological consultations to other specialties. • Participate in the departmental on-call rota as required. • Ensure accurate clinical documentation and adherence to hospital policies, clinical guidelines and quality standards. • Contribute to clinical governance, patient safety, education and continuous improvement initiatives. Qualifications & Experience • Medical degree from a recognized institution. • Recognized postgraduate specialty qualification/board certification in Neurology. • Minimum 3 years of relevant post-specialty experience, preferably within a governmental, semi-governmental, academic or teaching hospital. • Eligible for Specialist licensing with Qatar’s Department of Healthcare Professions (DHP). • Strong clinical and communication skills with the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary environment. • Fluency in English is required; Arabic is an advantage.
