Civil Cost Engineer

We are seeking a qualified Civil Cost Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing cost estimates, analyzing project costs, monitoring budgets, and ensuring effective cost control throughout the project lifecycle. Key Responsibilities Prepare detailed cost estimates for civil construction projects. Analyze drawings, specifications, and BOQs to determine project costs. Prepare quantity take-offs and evaluate material, labor, and equipment requirements. Review subcontractors' and suppliers' quotations. Monitor actual project costs against approved budgets. Prepare cost reports and variance analysis. Identify potential cost-saving opportunities. Coordinate with the Technical Office, Procurement, Planning, and Site Teams. Assist in preparing tender submissions and commercial proposals. Maintain and update cost databases and historical project cost records. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. 3–5 years of relevant experience in cost estimation or cost control within the construction industry. Strong knowledge of BOQs, quantity surveying, and construction methods. Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel.
