Role Description The Insurance Agent role at Chubb is a full-time, on-site position based in Alexandria. The Insurance Agent will advise individual and business clients on insurance needs, recommend appropriate products, and support policy issuance and renewals. Daily responsibilities include prospecting and qualifying potential customers, conducting needs-based consultations, preparing quotes, and explaining coverage options and terms in clear, accessible language. The role involves managing a portfolio of clients, handling inquiries and service requests, coordinating with underwriting and claims teams, and maintaining accurate records and documentation. The Insurance Agent will also contribute to local business development efforts, follow regulatory and company compliance standards, and meet sales and service performance goals. Qualifications Demonstrated proficiency in Insurance Sales and Insurance, with the ability to match client needs to suitable coverage options. Experience in Insurance Brokerage and working with multiple carriers or product lines to provide tailored solutions. Knowledge of Finance and basic financial concepts relevant to risk assessment, pricing, and client advisory. Strong Customer Service skills, including listening, relationship building, and effective issue resolution. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex information clearly. Proven ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment. Familiarity with local insurance regulations and compliance requirements; licensing as an insurance agent or broker in the relevant jurisdiction, or eligibility to obtain it within a defined timeframe. Comfort with using CRM systems, office productivity tools, and digital communication platforms. Prior experience in insurance, financial services, or a related field is preferred.
