Senior Functional Consultant – Autonomous Networks (TM Forum Certified) Autonomous Networks Functional Consultant is required by our global market leading client. Leveraging your TM Forum certifications, you will lead maturity assessments, define the functional architecture of Next-Gen Operations Support Systems (NGOSS), map out 3-to-5-year technology roadmaps, and configure operational frameworks that align with TM Forum Open APIs and ODA (Open Digital Architecture) standards. Key Responsibilities AN Maturity Assessment: Conduct end-to-end network capability assessments using the TM Forum Autonomous Network Level (ANL) Evaluation Framework (IG1252/IG1392) to grade operators from Level 0 to Level 4/5. Target Operating Model (TOM) Design: Redesign Telecom NOC/SOC operational processes, mapping current workflows into autonomous, zero-touch operational paradigms Functional & Architecture Definition: Define "To-Be" functional components using TM Forum Open Digital Architecture (ODA), eTOM (Business Process Framework), TAM (Application Framework), and SID (Information Framework). Intent-Based Systems & AI Alignment: Translate business intents into technical constraints, designing architectures for autonomous observability, closed-loop fault diagnosis, self-healing, and AI-powered RAN energy optimization. API & Catalyst Orchestration: Oversee the compliance of system integrations with TM Forum Open APIs and emerging protocols (e.g., Model Context Protocol - MCP) for seamless vendor-agnostic ecosystem interoperability. Client Engagement & Prototyping: Facilitate Proof of Technology (PoT) workshops, design high-value agentic AI scenarios, and collaborate with ecosystem partners (e.g., Nokia, Red Hat) to display real-world AN validation. Required Technical Skills & Competencies Deep Telecom Domain Expertise: Comprehensive functional knowledge across 5G, Cloud-Native Networks, Core, Transport, and IP/MPLS domains. OSS Transformation Mastery: Expertise in inventory modeling, fault/alarm correlation, root-cause analysis (RCA), performance KPI modeling, and service fulfillment engines AIOps & Agentic AI: Strong foundational knowledge of AI/ML engineering, AIOps, Knowledge Graphs, and LLM-driven multi-agent systems tailored for network control loops. Consulting Prowess: Proven track record in requirement elicitation, translating business needs into high-level functional designs, and constructing value-realization metrics. Qualifications & Certifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent. An MBA or Master’s in Engineering is highly preferred.
