Investment Manager

Accel HR is seeking an experienced Investment Manager for a UAE-based family investment company with a diversified local and international investment portfolio. The role will involve identifying and evaluating investment opportunities across multiple asset classes, managing the investment pipeline, conducting financial and commercial due diligence, and providing strategic investment recommendations to the owner and senior management. Key Responsibilities Investment Sourcing & Pipeline Management: Build, develop and maintain a central pipeline of local and international investment opportunities across real estate, private companies, investment funds and financial markets. Identify potential opportunities through market research, industry networks and external partners. Investment Evaluation: Screen and assess investment opportunities against the company's investment objectives, return expectations, risk appetite, liquidity requirements and investment horizon. Financial Modelling & Valuation: Develop financial models, conduct valuations, assess investment returns and analyse financial and commercial viability. Due Diligence: Conduct or coordinate comprehensive financial, commercial, operational and market due diligence, including counterparty assessments and risk evaluation. Investment Recommendations: Prepare investment memorandums, business cases and evidence-based recommendations for the owner and senior management. Portfolio Management: Monitor approved investments, portfolio performance, cash flows, milestones, returns and associated risks. Identify material changes and recommend appropriate actions. Financial Markets & Alternative Investments: Evaluate opportunities involving private equity, M&A, public equity markets, sukuk, Sharia-compliant investment structures and other financial instruments. Technology & Emerging Investments: Assess investment opportunities in software, artificial intelligence (AI) and technology-driven businesses. Stakeholder Management: Coordinate with banks, investment firms, fund managers, financial institutions, legal and financial advisers, consultants and international business partners. Investment Reporting & Governance: Prepare periodic portfolio performance reports, maintain investment dashboards and ensure organised documentation, due diligence records and transaction materials while maintaining strict confidentiality. Candidate Requirements 8–12 years of relevant experience in investment management, portfolio management, private equity, asset management, investment banking or family office environments. Strong hands-on experience in investment evaluation, portfolio management, financial analysis, valuation and due diligence. Exposure to banking and financial markets, with knowledge of private equity, M&A, sukuk, public equity markets and Sharia-compliant investment structures. Experience evaluating investments in software, technology and AI-driven businesses will be highly advantageous. Demonstrated ability to source, assess and manage investment opportunities across multiple sectors and geographies. Previous experience in a family office, investment holding company or diversified investment organisation is preferred. Senior investment leadership, portfolio ownership or board-level exposure within an investment or financial organisation will be an advantage. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration or a related discipline. CFA, CAIA, MBA, CA or other relevant professional qualifications will be an advantage.
