MEP QC Engineer

We are looking for a detail-oriented MEP QC Engineer to support the quality assurance and quality control activities for major oil and gas EPC projects in the UAE. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring all Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing installations are executed in compliance with project specifications, applicable codes and standards, and client quality requirements. YOUR ROLE As a MEP QC Engineer, you will have the below key responsibilities including but not limited to: Quality Control and Inspection Perform inspections of MEP installation works in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and applicable standards. Ensure all construction activities comply with approved Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), method statements, and quality procedures. Conduct material receiving inspections and verify compliance with project requirements. Witness testing and commissioning activities related to MEP systems. Documentation and Reporting Prepare and maintain quality records, inspection reports, punch lists, and test reports. Raise, track, and close Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs) and corrective actions. Maintain inspection logs and ensure proper documentation control throughout the project lifecycle. Coordination and Compliance Coordinate with construction, engineering, subcontractors, and client representatives on quality-related matters. Support audits and surveillance activities conducted by clients and third-party inspectors. Ensure compliance with project quality requirements, international standards, and HSE regulations. Participate in quality meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR Experience Minimum 6-8 years of QA/QC experience in Oil & Gas, EPC, Industrial, or Infrastructure projects. Experience in MEP inspection, testing, and commissioning activities. UAE or Middle East project experience is preferred. Education and Certifications Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or a related Engineering discipline. Relevant QA/QC certifications will be an advantage. ISO Lead Auditor Certification Skills and Competencies Strong knowledge of MEP systems, quality control procedures, and inspection methodologies. Familiarity with applicable international codes and standards. Proficiency in quality documentation and reporting. Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.
