Role Description The Engineering Internship Program (Civil) 2026 at ASWAQ Developments is a full-time, on-site role based in Qesm El Sherouk. Interns will support civil engineering activities across residential, commercial, and administrative projects, including assisting with design reviews, site inspections, and layout verification under the supervision of experienced engineers. Day-to-day tasks may include preparing and updating drawings and documentation, assisting in quantity surveying and basic cost estimates, and helping monitor contractor work for compliance with specifications and safety standards. Interns will also participate in project meetings, contribute to technical reports, and learn to coordinate with cross-functional teams such as architecture, MEP, and project management. The program is designed to provide hands-on exposure to real estate development workflows, construction practices, and project delivery from concept through execution. Qualifications Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a Civil Engineering program, with a solid understanding of structural and infrastructure fundamentals. Basic proficiency in engineering and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, Revit or similar tools) and familiarity with MS Office for documentation and reporting. Knowledge of construction materials, methods, and site work, with an interest in real estate development for residential, commercial, and administrative projects. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and numerical skills, with the ability to interpret drawings, specifications, and technical data. Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with a professional attitude and willingness to learn from on-site and office-based mentors. Attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced project environment. Understanding of basic safety practices on construction sites; familiarity with local building codes and regulations is an advantage.
