About the Role. Job Location: Kuwait. Department: On Sync Energy Management Services Company. Job Responsibilities Perform welding, cutting, and fabrication using oxygen-acetylene, oxygen-fuel gas, and argon arc (TIG) welding equipment. Select appropriate welding electrodes and procedures for different ferrous and non-ferrous metals, including carbon steel, stainless steel, alloy steel, aluminum, bronze, and brass. Perform pipe cutting, fitting, welding, joining, and installation across various pipe sizes and materials. Fabricate metal structures, brackets, frames, pipe fittings, elbows, tees, and reducers using engineering drawings, sketches, and samples. Perform welding on fixed and rolled pipes, plates, and structural components using horizontal, vertical, overhead, and other required welding techniques. Repair cast iron components and prepare damaged castings for welding and refurbishment. Carry out metal cutting, shaping, grinding, and pipe preparation to meet required dimensions and fabrication tolerances. Operate, inspect, and perform basic maintenance of AC/DC welding machines and associated equipment. Follow welding procedures, quality requirements, and applicable HSE standards. Qualification Requirements Secondary School Certificate with a minimum 2-year technical/trade certificate in Welding. Minimum 5 years of relevant welding and fabrication experience. Valid welding qualifications/certificates and ability to successfully pass a practical welding test. Hands-on experience in pipe welding, structural fabrication, TIG/arc welding, and working with different ferrous and non-ferrous metals. Ability to read and work from engineering drawings, sketches, and fabrication specifications. Knowledge of welding equipment, tools, materials, and industrial safety procedures.
