Systems & Security Engineer (ADMCC Certified)

Position Overview We are seeking a skilled, hands-on Systems & Security Engineer holding an active ADMCC (Abu Dhabi Monitoring and Control Centre) Certification. The role encompasses L2/L3 infrastructure support, enterprise cybersecurity operations, managed services (AMC) administration, and statutory surveillance system compliance across commercial and government client accounts in Abu Dhabi. Key Roles & Responsibilities 1. CCTV & ADMCC Compliance (Critical) Lead and manage CCTV Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) in compliance with Abu Dhabi Monitoring and Control Centre (ADMCC) regulations. Conduct mandatory preventive maintenance inspections, audit logs, camera uptime verification, and storage retention checks. Coordinate and execute testing, commissioning, and annual renewal audits to secure ADMCC compliance certificates for client trade license renewals. Supervise cabling technicians (Raj & K3) on IP camera installations, NVR/VMS configurations, and storage calculations. 2. Security & Managed Security Services (MSSP) Configure, deploy, and administer next-gen firewalls (Fortinet FortiGate, Sophos XGS, SonicWall). Manage Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) agents, anti-ransomware policies, and automated patch management routines. Oversee Email Security gateways, anti-phishing protection, and Data Loss Prevention (DLP) rules. Assist in vulnerability assessments, baseline security hardening, and remediation guidance aligned with NESA and UAE PDPL standards. 3. Systems Administration & Cloud Services Administer Microsoft 365 tenants (Exchange Online, SharePoint, OneDrive, Entra ID / Azure AD, Intune). Manage Windows Server environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policies). Configure, test, and manage automated hybrid/cloud backup solutions (Veeam, Acronis, Synology, Azure Backup) with disaster recovery drill verification. Provide escalation L2/L3 technical support for ongoing Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMCs), meeting agreed client SLAs. Required Qualifications & Experience ADMCC Certification: Valid, active ADMCC CCTV Engineer / Technician certification is MANDATORY. Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of proven hands-on experience in Systems Administration, Network Security, and ELV/CCTV implementations within the UAE (Abu Dhabi experience strongly preferred). Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or related engineering discipline. Technical Certifications (Preferred): Fortinet NSE 4+, Sophos Certified Engineer, Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator / Azure Administrator, or CompTIA Security+. UAE Driving License: Valid UAE manual/automatic driving license is an added advantage. Key Competencies Deep familiarity with UAE security best practices and local authority requirements.
