Senior Mobile App Developer – Connected Devices

EELAF is building its smart wearable product line, including smartwatches and health wristbands, and we’re looking for a hands-on developer to build our companion mobile application. Previous smartwatch experience is welcome but not required. We’re looking for strong mobile development skills, practical problem-solving ability, and an interest in connected devices. What you’ll do • Develop and maintain the EEUN mobile application for Android and iOS. • Integrate wearable devices using supplier SDKs and documented communication protocols. • Implement device connection, data synchronization, settings, and reconnection handling. • Build interfaces for activity and wellness data. • Work with hardware suppliers to investigate integration issues and test on real devices. • Establish maintainable code, secure data handling, and reliable app releases. What we’re looking for • Strong experience delivering production mobile applications. • Proficiency in Flutter, React Native, Kotlin, or Swift, with the ability to work with native platform APIs when needed. • Strong debugging skills and experience with APIs, local storage, asynchronous operations, permissions, and background execution. • Ability to understand technical documentation and communicate with overseas suppliers in English. • Ownership, curiosity, and willingness to learn wearable device integration. A strong advantage • Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE), GATT, or device SDK integration. • IoT, tracking devices, sensors, or other connected hardware projects. • Experience handling offline synchronization and intermittent connections. You do not need to be a firmware or electronics engineer. This role focuses on the mobile application and its integration with the device.
