Electrical Engineer / Quality Engineer

Role Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and technically capable professional to support electrical engineering activities, quality assurance processes, and continuous improvement initiatives. This role combines electrical systems knowledge with quality management practices to help ensure that engineering designs, equipment, materials, and operational processes meet established technical specifications, safety requirements, and performance standards. The successful candidate will contribute to electrical system design, technical evaluation, equipment testing, quality inspections, and engineering documentation. Working closely with engineering, production, project management, and quality teams, the candidate will help identify technical issues, improve operational reliability, and maintain consistent standards throughout project execution and product delivery. Key responsibilities include reviewing electrical drawings, circuit diagrams, technical specifications, equipment layouts, and engineering documents. The role may involve supporting the installation, testing, commissioning, and maintenance of electrical systems, including power distribution equipment, control panels, wiring systems, electrical components, and related infrastructure. The candidate will assist with troubleshooting electrical faults, analyzing system performance, and recommending corrective actions to improve safety, efficiency, and reliability. From a quality engineering perspective, responsibilities include conducting inspections, reviewing test results, monitoring product and process conformity, and identifying deviations from established requirements. The successful candidate will help develop inspection procedures, maintain quality records, investigate non-conformities, and support root cause analysis to prevent recurring issues. Additional duties include coordinating quality audits, preparing technical reports, reviewing supplier documentation, and verifying that materials, components, and completed work meet relevant specifications. The role may also involve supporting quality management systems, implementing corrective and preventive actions, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives that reduce defects, minimize rework, and improve overall operational performance. The candidate will collaborate with internal teams, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to resolve engineering concerns, communicate inspection findings, and ensure that corrective measures are implemented effectively. Maintaining accurate documentation, following established safety procedures, and ensuring compliance with applicable technical standards will be essential. Familiarity with electrical testing, troubleshooting, inspection procedures, and equipment commissioning is an advantage. Knowledge of quality assurance, quality control, inspection methodologies, and non-conformance management. Understanding of root cause analysis, corrective and preventive actions, and continuous improvement techniques. Familiarity with quality management standards such as ISO 9001 and relevant electrical safety standards is beneficial. Ability to interpret technical drawings, engineering specifications, inspection criteria, and test documentation. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with engineering design, testing, or quality management software is an advantage. Strong analytical, numerical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Excellent attention to detail and the ability to identify discrepancies, assess risks, and recommend practical solutions.
