🚀 WE’RE HIRING | BMS/SCADA DESIGN ENGINEER Design Intelligent Building Automation & Control Systems We are looking for a skilled BMS/SCADA Design Engineer to join our Design Team in New Cairo – Fifth Settlement, Egypt, contributing to the design and development of intelligent building automation and control solutions for major projects. 📌 Job Title: BMS/SCADA Design Engineer 📍 Location: New Cairo – Fifth Settlement, Cairo, Egypt 🏢 Department: Design 💼 Employment Type: Full-Time 🏢 Work Model: On-site 📊 Work Conditions: 70–80% Office | 20–30% Field ⏳ Experience: 3–5 Years 🏗️ Industry: ELV / ICT | Building Automation & Control Systems 🔹 Key Responsibilities Prepare BMS/SCADA design documentation, including control schematics, I/O lists, network architecture diagrams, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs). Develop Sequence of Operations (SOO) in coordination with mechanical and electrical design teams. Support controller configuration, control logic development, point mapping, and graphics preparation. Assist with system integration, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), Site Acceptance Testing (SAT), and commissioning activities. Review vendor submittals, technical catalogues, and shop drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications. Conduct design reviews to verify technical accuracy and alignment with project requirements. Provide technical support in troubleshooting BMS/SCADA design and configuration issues. Coordinate with design, project management, implementation, commercial, and supply chain teams, as well as vendors and consultants. Ensure the completion of technical documentation, test reports, and as-built drawings for project handover. Monitor design progress and prepare regular status updates. 🔹 Job Requirements Bachelor’s degree in electrical, Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering. 3–5 years of relevant experience in BMS/SCADA engineering and design. Strong knowledge of BMS/SCADA system architecture, design documentation, and control systems. Experience with controller configuration, control logic development, and system integration. Good understanding of HVAC and lighting control systems. Knowledge of communication protocols such as BACnet, Modbus, and OPC. Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant engineering design tools. Ability to review technical submittals and coordinate with vendors. Familiarity with testing, commissioning documentation, and project handover processes. Experience in large-scale projects and Saudi/GCC ELV/ICT environments is an advantage.
