Senior Logistics Manager – Holding Operations

Al Maysarah Holding is looking for an experienced Senior Logistics Manager to lead and optimize logistics activities. Key Responsibilities Develop and implement the Holding’s logistics strategy. Oversee transportation, freight forwarding, customs clearance, import/export, and distribution activities. Manage logistics providers, shipping companies, contracts, costs, and service levels. Ensure compliance with customs regulations, trade requirements, and Incoterms. Optimize delivery schedules, routes, lead times, and logistics costs. Standardize logistics procedures and performance indicators across subsidiaries. Coordinate with Procurement, Operations, Finance, Commercial, and Warehouse teams. Identify logistics risks and develop effective contingency plans. Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field. Minimum of 15 years of relevant experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role. Proven experience in logistics and freight operations within Iraq, including customs clearance, border procedures, shipping documentation, and local transportation networks. Experience in industrial, manufacturing, cement, oil and gas, mining, or heavy-industry operations. Strong knowledge of cross-border logistics, imports, exports, land transportation, and freight management. Proficiency in SAP, advanced Microsoft Excel, and logistics reporting. Strong leadership, negotiation, analytical, and stakeholder-management skills. Excellent communication skills in Arabic and English. Graduates from German Jordanian University, University of Jordan, Jordan University of Science and Technology, or Princess Sumaya University for Technology are preferred.
